Adult Support & Protection

Adult Support & Protection

About This Course

Our Adult Support and Protection course was created to provide up to date safeguarding training for the regulated Health and Social Care workforce. This could be in a number of different settings i.e., in a client’s own home, a residential care home or within a hospital. The course outcomes consist of how to identify and protect vulnerable adults, what actions you should take if harm is suspected and understanding the legislation surrounding adults who may be at risk/lack capacity.
Kaizen Training covers a wide range of topics within this and we would encourage attendees to consider ways in which they can protect vulnerable adults by keeping up with the latest legislation, regulations, policies, procedures and how these may apply to your organisation. (This may differ slightly dependent on care setting.)

After this course, staff will be able to:

  • Be able to identify if a client is at risk of harm/is being harmed.

  • Know which actions to take if harm is suspected.

  • Have an understanding of the legislation surrounding adults who may be at risk/lack capacity.

Packages can be tailored to suit your individual business requirements. For bespoke quotes or more information please get in touch with us on: 0141 648 4435 (refresher courses also available)
