About This Course:
The Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 3 Health and Social Care is a qualification aimed at people who work in the health and social care sector. The SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care will give you the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, enabling you to progress within your career, or take on new challenges.
This course is ideal for those in roles such as team leaders, senior carers and care coordinators.
This SVQ Level 3 can be completed remotely via online video call sessions with our assessors.
Candidates can access our online learning system to collaborate with their assessor and upload and edit their work and portfolio.
Assessment:
Candidates must complete 4 mandatory and 4 optional units.
Candidates will generate evidence and demonstrate understanding and competency in job-related tasks/skills, within their area of work.
Units are completed, through a combination of observation (from the assessor/expert witness), written work (candidates’ reflective accounts, questions, and activities) along with professional discussion, which are all linked to the candidate’s job role.
Direct Observations:
These are carried out within your work setting and during normal working hours.
Candidate Written Work:
The expectation is that this will be completed within your own time.
Once you have submitted your work, your assessor will assess and return with developmental and meaningful feedback. This will help to ensure the content presented and placed within your portfolio meets assessment criteria and national occupational standards.
