Our SIA Door Supervisor Course arms you with the knowledge and skills you need to work as a door supervisor or security guard within the UK. This course is a requirement for those who are looking to obtain their SIA Door Supervisor license.

This is a 6 day course that is broken down into 4 units:

  • Unit 1 – Working within the private security industry
  • Unit 2 – Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry

  • Unit 3 – Conflict Management within the Private Security Industry

  • Unit 4 – Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry

This course covers all aspects of the roles including surrounding legislation, fire safety, emergency procedures, dealing with conflict, arresting, physical skills, professional standards among many other elements.

Completing this course and obtaining your SIA license allows you to work in a variety of roles including:

  • Nightclub/Restaurant/Bar Door Supervisor

  • Corporate/Event Security

  • Retail Security

  • and more!

Achieving your SIA Door Supervisor License is straightforward:

  1. Pass our Door Supervisor Course (very high pass rate)
  2. Fill out the licence application on the SIA website
  3. Wait for your license to arrive via post

The course lasts 6 days, from 9am-5pm each day. Once you have completed and passed the course, you must apply to the SIA for your license which can take up to 25 working days. 

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in this course.

Rates can vary between £10-£15/hour and depending on how much you work and where you can earn up to £3000/month.
